2017 Membership information and contract

We mail out our spring membership newsletter and contract the middle of February. When the contract is mailed back to us with a payment, you become a member of Common Harvest. We are happy to work with individuals who would like a  payment plan. Historically our membership roster is full by the middle of April.  Call us in the spring to see if we still have shares available.

Our deliveries are coordinated through a network of neighborhood pickup locations.  They are at the heart of our CSA and we are so grateful to our members who coordinate and provide this support for the farm.We deliver on Thursdays from the second week in June through the middle of October.   Before  deliveries begin, new members will be contacted by their drop-site coordinator who will further explain the pick-up process.

We deliver in a ¾ bushel waxed produce box.  Members transfer the contents of the box to their own tote or bags. The waxed boxes are returned to the farm and re-used in subsequent weeks.  With this shared stewardship, we are able to use the boxes for an entire season.

Weekly communication with members is an important part of the farm.  We e-mail each member at the beginning of the week with a list of what to expect in that week’s box along with helpful recipes and notices of upcoming events at the farm.  We do our best to make sure our members have the support they need to make this a positive experience.
